Step1: Read the terms below

(“ReuseIt,” “we,” “our,” “us”) operates and maintains the mobile software application ecoVerse (the “Application”). Reuseit provides a mechanism by which users can donate gently-used goods to other users and enjoy a small tax-deduction for the value of each item donated. As the operator and manager of the Application, ReuseIt does not provide any guidance or assistance with regard to users’ individual state or federal taxes or tax returns. By using the Application to donate gently used goods, you agree to not hold ReuseIt, its officers, employees, or volunteers liable for any tax-related issues of any kind. You hereby accept personal responsibility for any tax liability or penalty you may incur while a registered user of the Application and release any claims against ReuseIt for said tax liability or penalties. Upon successful donation of an item, along with the required confirmation of the beneficiary, ReuseIt will send notices by email and/or through the Application to each user listing the number of donations made and their individual value for tax purposes. These notices serve as records of your tax-deductible donations through the Application. The items should be in good used condition or better to qualify for receiving a tax deduction receipt. Once the beneficiary picks up and confirms the condition of an item, the beneficiary will have to attest the quality of the item in order for a donor to be legible for receiving a tax deduction receipt. According to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), a taxpayer can deduct the fair market value of clothing, household goods, used furniture, shoes, books and so forth. Fair market value is the price a willing buyer would pay for them. Value usually depends on the condition of the item. By law, a charity cannot tell you what your donated items are worth. This is something you must do yourself. To assess "fair market value" for your donations we provide suggestions in the form of a range of average prices of what used items may value. It’s up to the user (“you”) to determine a value within those ranges. We advise you to also read our terms of use found at .
